Traffic Equalizer (TE)is one of the first page generators that has been on the market for quite some time. This sofware was developped by SEO and internet marketer expert -jeff alderson (for a list of Jeff Alderson sofware).
Traffic Equalizer generates hundreds of highly optimized pages from any keyword list. Those individual pages have search engine listing as content in a directory style manner. All those pages are linked by a site map.
Pagegenerators comes and goes off the market. Ranking Power (RP) used to be very popular, but it was taken off the market. RP was struggling to get access to search engine data source and hence RP generated pages was lacking data source.
Traffic Equalizer has released version 3. There are few new features :
- Use Meta Descriptions When Available
- Use Page Titles As Header Line
The innerlink feature works by having a set of 10 keywords on all generated pages. This is very important because search engine algorythm attach a lot of importance to internal link structure.
Many people says that Page generators does not work anymore. The fact is that webmasters are still making heaps of money through adsense from TE pages.
Tips:
Modify templates
Do not use TE default templates as it is. Those pages would not blend with your website and seach engine would consider them as spammy.
Edit the TE default pages in your html editor so that it blends with your website.
Add Content
Search engines are looking for content. Using search engine listing in directory style is not enough. Use RSS feeds to add content. These will refresh all the time and it will pull new contents.
Add articles
There are so many free articles ezine website. Adding articles can be quite tricky since you will not want to generate 100’s of webpages with same 10 articles. You will need a script that would rotate those articles as if an RSS feed. Len thurmond Traffic on Steroid and article automator, can be used to add snippets from articles on TE pages.
